OUR HOUSE is an epic, passionate and fast moving romantic comedy that begins one summer's evening in North London. The night of Joe Casey, a young bloke and his sixteenth birthday. On this night he commits a petty crime to impress the girl he loves. When the police arrive, young Joe is faced with one of those crossroad choices we all face at points in our lives. Stay or run.
The musical follows the two courses his life might have taken had he stayed to face the music when the police arrive at the scene, or if he had bunked the law by making a run for it.
The show won the 2003 Olivier Award for "Best New Musical". Featuring the songs of Madness, one of the UK's biggest selling singles bands, including the hits "Baggy Trousers", "It Must Be Love", "Driving In My Car", "House Of Fun" and two brand new songs written for the show.
